Zittend in het donker.
Chillin in het park.
Wachtlijsten voor consumptie.
Ironie is overvloedig, liggend op de grond.
Het bespreken van alle functies.

Sands of the hour glass

aLefty

In a empty hotel room
the sun glances, glimmers and gleams.

Shadows permeate heavily into the silver and gold.

Refractured
and disjointed
as time sally's forth.

Wall to Wall

Wether'd Wall

The gap between two buildings...

Captured this during construction on 1st Ave in Seattle near the Seattle Art Museum. I believe there is a new building replacing the hole in the ground from whence this picture was taken. -Which replaced the old building that was smack up against this lovely site.

Photoshop World Vegas 2k6

theHOTEL
(but not for i)

Photoshop World
Vegas 2006
was a hoot!

(I was not able to get back to Vegas for 2007).

Absorbed Photoshop geekdom for 4 days solid.

Wed extra Day snippet:
Russell Brown and his Mondo Media Madness event rocked da haus.

I walked in to a sea of laptops buzzing and whirring along in unison with a gaggle of inkjet printers standing watch as attendees prance about whilst free prints made on silk, silver, and slide fall from the heavens... Lazers bring new life to dead wood as a Mad Scientist dares one and all with wizdom and whatnot.

4 years and counting since that photograph took place...
It would be a shame for the events of that day to go by undocumented.

So a book is called to be.

I put forth a request into the ethers for other photographers who witnessed similar events. (That day, or others like it.)

Berried Bridge

I had a car malfunction once near exit 57, and got towed to Toledo.
Had lunch, took pictures along the river, walked to a park near by...
took a nap for a while...
Walked back...
Grabbed a beer... and got towed to Graham.

Reflectivousity

Taken with one of my favorite back-pack'n options the
colorsplash camera.
I picked up this gem at a thriftstore a while back.
Lightweight, portable, re-useable film camera with a special flash feature.

Tree of Life

Eagleville, NV.

En route to a summer festival.

I stopped along Highway 447 to take this shot.
At around 1:30 am... I Shot 2 rolls.

Several cars passed by while was shooting.

Shortly after getting back on the road, one of those passerbys was on the side, flashers blinking away.
-Just as the road hits a winding, curvy, section of highway.

Everybody's alright. (Yeehaw!) No cell phone service. And probably 50 miles from ANY house.
Not the best place to have an axle slip on a uhaul... (but hey where is?).

After running through the options, it turns out one of the unlucky 3, is mechanicaly inclined.
He just didn't bring a tool chest.

Luckily, I packed that along with 90% of my possesions.
We jack the half-empty 6x8 closed trailer off the ground and get the axle repositioned, in a jiffy.

Hugs and smiles abound.

And we are all back on the road again...
